DON'T WAIT FOR INSPIRATION

I’m an artist with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Printmaking, whose work reflects a deep, evolving connection with nature. Influenced by the emotive depth of German Expressionism,  I embrace bold, gestural techniques while using acrylics,

Drawing inspiration from the raw beauty of the nature world, my work explores the tension between control and spontaneity. Recently, my artistic practice has focused on shedding the pursuit of perfection, instead valuing decision-making and the beauty found in mistakes.

This time and thanks to color, there is a curious freedom in mine creative process.

After being immersed in the tense and dark of printmaking, I’m practicing art in a more mindful and natural way. I reframe myself by taking my life as it is at the moment, allowing myself to experiment all parts of me and appreciating the results whether good or bad.

No judging allowed, just the right of breathe and embrace what I create.

THE PRINTS

Disforia was a show that meant the conversion of emotions and discoveries through printmaking. Drawing inspiration from emotions and the human condition, each pieces evoke a sense of wonder and introspection.  The medium needed to be simple in its execution and dense in what it represented. It ended up being both: dense and complex in the execution and in the representation. The process was an intricate and rewarding journey that I embraced with a much younger soul. The prints here are the artist proofs and tests that didn’t make it to the show, but they're ready to fill a space of reflection on your wall.

The SALE

THE CONTEXT: Going back to the printshop I bumped into these pieces I had forgotten I have. They belonged to my art show “Disforia”, a body of work full of melancholia and so very close to my heart where I used lithograph as medium of expression. The drawing technique of mixing water, dry ink, and alcohol along with a complex printing method allowed me to create dense tonal passages and violent textures.
